Mikael Bäckström appointed as Chief People and Sustainability Officer for Tobii Dynavox

Tobii Dynavox, the world leader in assistive technology for communication, today announced that it has appointed Mikael Bäckström as Chief People and Sustainability Officer. He assumes the role with immediate effect as a key member in the Tobii Dynavox Management Team.   

Mikael Bäckström is a proven leader within People and HR, with a track-record of building global HR organizations through periods of growth and with focus on building a sustainable business through culture and leadership. Most recently Bäckström was Vice President, HR at Spotify for seven years, where he was part of building out a professional global HR organization as well as heading up HR for the Freemium business unit. Prior to that, he held HR management roles for the telecom carrier Tre, PwC, Icon Medialab as well as Klarna and DigitalRoute.
